Energy and the Environment
Description
The fast exhaustion of conventional energy resources and fossil fuel stocks and its negative impacts on environment have put forward major tasks to the research community in the field of Energy and Environment Engineering. The challenge for continuous generation of power to meet the ever-growing demand is a daunting task, especially due to the availability of limited resources. Energy necessity motivates researchers and industrialist for energy efficient technologies to sustain the world for better living. The main objective of this special issue is to explore the multidisciplinary platform for the discussing the energy related issues. The major milestones are:
- Identifying a suitable alternative energy resources;
- Integrating the new energy sources to the existing energy infrastructure;
- Design of energy efficient equipment;
- Assessing the technical and economic feasibility.
- Creating awareness on Energy efficient products
- Energy Efficient Power System technology
To deal with these challenges, we need to develop strong communities that work across industries and with multiple stakeholders to address these issues. Hence, having an understanding of energy issues in community and regional levels would pave the way to a more comprehensive solution globally.
